Three more days until they start refilling Lake Austin.

Check out the interview with Burt Briggs.
http://www.theyakfisherman.com/content/

I think everyone has heard the story by now but
Burt caught two,10lb plus bass, in less than two weeks on Lake Austin.
The second giant, around 12lbs, was caught during a kayak tournament.
Needless to say, he won the big bass event.

Congrats Burt on your hawgs! It was nice meeting you on MLK Day.

Thanks for mentioning ABF several times in your interview.

"Exposing Lake Austin" has been a debated subject ever since the drawdown but in the end how many guys got a chance to get out and catch their personal best? Isn't that what it's all about?

Got a few more days left and it's about time I got back out there to try for another...EA, you ready?

Yep, Congrats Burton! Great interview too.

Also, you are a very modest guy to say that second one was a 11.5 lbs. Would have liked to known where that one exactly came in at.

Who were the " two guys " you were talking about? 8)

Anyway, hope to see you out there again!

Fairfight,

Very cool!  Thanks for sharing the podcast and adding a whole new dynamic to the ABF forum.

People like you who post up quality fish reports and pertinent information as it pertains to our local waters really make ABF a great forum.

I'm sure most anglers out there find it refreshing to go to a forum and find quality fishing information without having to wade through numerous junk threads to get it.  Tight lines and keep those reports coming!

Oh and congratulations on those hawgs, fellas!
