Can anyone give me info on a women only tournament. I would like to get started in tournament fishing.

Are you looking for a national tour like the Womens Bassmaster Tour or a local ladies only trail? I am very familiar with WBT but don't know of anything local for ladies only. You might want to hook up with Lila Bass who is on this board, she's a WBT contender.

I've never heard of any locally. I've been fishing locally for about 35 years and I don't believe there is any, but I could be wrong. The closest thing that I can think of is the Mr & Mrs Bass Club of Austin.

There is a site called ladybassangler.com There is one group in SE Texas but I didn't see any groups near Austin.

Thanks everyone for the info. I will be taking 2 weeks off for x-mas and plan to do a lot of bank river fishing around the area. I will also look into the couples fishing club. Last week I caught two 4.2 and one 5 pounder out of lake bastrop. It was a blast.

Hmmm...Asian only tournaments is not a bad idea.

This would be our first rule:

1. Anyone with a valid fishing license, throwing back any fish under the legal size limit or not having more than the legal bag limit in their possession will lead to immediate disqualification!
