Thought about hooking up the Skeeter and heading to Austin yesterday evening with a cooler full of Lone Star, but with the scattered storms forecasted for the area decided otherwise and opted for the next best thing...

We all cut out around 2 am but the results were posted to TTZ at 10:30 am, so just a tad delayed.

Followed the liquid dinner from last night with a six pack for lunch and finally had my first meal of the day at 5:45 when the Waldrops showed up to register...always a good thing when your first solid meal is a Waldrop BBQ sandwhich!
Had a pretty good day yesterday, hit 75.4 at 6000 rpms on the gps in the FX by myself with two full tanks of gas, probably a 76-77 mph boat and 73-74 all day with two people and full tourney load. Caught a few fish with Slauncho, won some gas money and got to hang with the boys and a giant owl under 360 after the tourney.
Congrats to the winners and second place, tough night for sure!
