The big girls are shallow and it's time to get Travis under way!  New for this year will be the River City Grille Big Bass Rollover.

Here's how it works…River City Grille will start the Big Bass pot at $100.00; we will roll each week's $5.00 Big Bass entry into this pot until one lucky angler catches an 8 pound bass or better and wins all the cash!  It's that simple, weigh in an 8.00 pound or larger black bass on our scale and you take home the entire River City Grille Big Bass Rollover pot (if multiple fish are brought in the pot will go to the heaviest fish).  Once the pot has been won we will start it over at $100.00.

For more information about the tournament and complete tournament rules click here:

http://ttz1.com/news/travis-tues-nighters-start-april-6/

Be sure to enter the April raffle for your chance to win a comp'd entry to your choice of a Tues or Wed Night TTZ Tournament!

We'll be on the floating dock at Mansfield to begin registration at 5:30, see everyone there!

Dub, did you finally get all that sand out?

I'll be in town next Tues and Wed so will be there as well, looking forward to it bro!

Leave that sissy stick at home, that was so 2007!  Good times back in the day though huh?

Just a little useless trivia for you folks at home - the TTZ Travis Tues Nighter evolved from a tournament created by two idiots named Grnhead and airfob.  Back in the day the two needed an excuse to fish and enjoy blue sodas on a weekly basis, so during the off week of the Austin Wed night tournaments they held the Travis Wed Nighters...the rest is history!

Washed it pretty good and all the sand is removed, ready to rumble on Travis.

I couldn't stand those two guys. Didn't they win like 2 times in a row and 3 times in a year? Miscounted the boats one time and shorted themselves a 3rd place finish. Tools.

With the southerly winds blowing to 35mph, I would hug the shore...

At Noontime is was a balming 76 degrees and winds gusting to 35mph.

GOOD LUCK...FIND A BACK OF A COVE AND CHUNK TOPWATERS! Or find a lighted dock and use small curl tail grubs or small crankbaits.

Rest Of Today...Mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 80s. South winds 15 to 20 mph.

Tonight...Partly cloudy before midnight...then cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers after midnight. Lows 60 to 65. South winds 10 to 20 mph.
