We'd like to thank everyone for coming out and participating in this event.  I know it was not the ideal conditions to be on the lake from the weather forecast but I think it turned out pretty nice once the sun came out.

We had 33 entries and the payouts were adjusted as follows:

HOURLY: 1st - $130.00 2nd - $100.00 3rd - $80.00 4th - $80.00 5th - $60.00/tackle pack 6th - Premium tackle pack

OVERALL: 1st - $150.00/Premium tackle pack 2nd - $125.00/Premium tackle pack 3rd - $100.00/Premium tackle pack

Congrats to all the hourly winners and a big congrats to Dan Taylor, Herb Marion and Billy Weems for taking the Top 3 Big Bass honors!  Most would agree Austin has been fishing extremely tough lately, bringing in those pigs under yesterday's conditions is simply amazing!

Here are some pics of the Top 3 from the tournament and Rude's 4 lber

Dan's 9.51 lber

Herb's 8.95 lber

Billy's 5.53 lber

Yung cutting a check with a solid 4.10 lber

We hope everyone had a good time and enjoyed the all you can drink beverages and Bee Caves BBQ.  We also had tackle give aways for everyone that came back to the final weigh in.  Items were generously donated from Academy and Grande Bass.

Special thanks to Robby, Brian and Don from the TOZ Team for all of their help as well, we couldn't have done this without you guys.

Thanks again to all that came out, we hope to make this bigger, better and warmer next year!

Excellent BB Tournament thanks to EA and AIRFOB. Enjoyed the tournament and would have enjoyed it even more if I could have ccught some fish. Sure was a cold ride from the 360 bridge to the low water crossing especially at 6:00 am. Don't think I will ever do that again. Congrats to Dan, Duke and all the rest of the winners. Special thanks to Andy and Eric for running the tournament.

It was a bit chilly, having your rod eyelets feezing makes you realize.....hmmmmm what am I doing here!

Fantastic tourney, big thanks to Andy, Eric, and the rest who put in time on this deal. By far the most fun tourney yet even if I only put one fish in the boat, he cashed. Love the format and hope to see it done again!  :)

Just want to give thanks all the hard core fisherman that came out and gave it a go.

We even had two guys that came all the way from Eagle Pass to fish with us!

Problem was we cannot control the weather. It was 28 deg when AirFob and I left City Park to 360. ( That stung a little ) But, compared to Swimbaits Dad and HHJ running to the low water X it was nothing.

Overall, we hope everyone that came out had a great time ( once they warmed up ) that was our only goal.

If we can find the right date in spring time that does not conflict with the other trails, we are thinking about another one.

For those who missed out, one fish is all you need for cash.

Congrats to Dan Taylor, he is named FishGod for a reason, Herb and Weemo, and all the others that took home cash.

We really wanted to pay outs to be higher, but since right now we run on turnout only, we did the best we could do. In the end it is all about fishing and having fun, some cold beer and BBQ at the end, and hanging out with all our friends.

Wanted one more time to thank all the people that helped us out.

ABF, Elite Watersports, Our Bro's from TOZ, Clint at Academy I-35 / 183, Bill Dee at SOB Lures, Grande Bass, Ranger R77, Waldrops at Bee Caves BBQ, Jacky @ Fish Finders Marine and last but not least, some little weasel carp fisherjackass a site down from us.  :p

I wanted to publicly thank Andy, Eric, and all the sponsors for putting this tournament on. You guys have consistently gone the extra mile to run the tournaments out on Lake Austin (and Travis). I haven't been able to fish many of the events this year, so I felt truly blessed to be able to catch such an amazing fish during one of your tournaments. The Beecavs BBQ and hanging with good folks swapping fishing tales was a great finish to a great day on the lake. I don't know how many of the participants got a look at the tackle packs that came with some of the prizes, but they were stacked with some very pricey tackle. I'll try & snap a few pics & post them if fyou guys dont already have some. I have been all smiles this weekend. ;D ;D ;D (even if UT is going to the Fiesta Bowl)

Agreed on what Dan and others say. Andy and Eric put in alot of time and dedication for these tournaments and It really shows. The turn out was great the food and beer was a plus after the T.

Swimbaits Dad and I fished together and had a pretty rough day. I think I went with out a single bite for 6 hrs or better. Now Im no pro but I would think that either Larry or I could have put a fish in boat at some point after 9am. We caught about 7 or 8 fish Larry had one squeaker and that was it. Good times on the water though Larry is a great guy and was nice enough to volunteer his boat.

Looking forward to the next one.

Take Care

I had a great time. It was fun fishing with Andy and discussing best places to see boobs, get hammered for cheap, and occasionally talking fishing.

I do know after this tourney Andy should be on an auction block to pay his tail to fish with next year. The dude is a stick for leaening how to fish out of a MasterCraft XStar. Mike you might be stuck with your intern ;D.

Have to thank all the entrants that braved the cold to fish and afterward enjoyed a beer and BBQ. Plus all the folks that made this possible; Eric and Andy, TOZ, Academy, BeeCaves BBQ, and of course Elite Watersports.  Can't wait till the next one.

Kudos to the TTZ crew for a great tournament.  Man I love the hourly weigh-in format.  As always the T was well run and tons of fun.

Good seeing everyone on the water and congrats to those in the money.  Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for the kind words guys, we always try to put on a good show and have a great time hosting these tournaments.  Again, I cannot reiterate how much I want to thank everyone that came out.  It means a lot for you guys to show your support on those really tough days.

I agree with everyone else, the hourly format is fun and keeps your head in the game the entire day.  We are planning another tournament very soon.

Paris, fun time indeed.  Considering the unfavorable conditions on the water and the lack of fish being weighed in, all the dinks we caught felt like 5 lbers.  I can't remember the last time I had that good of a time swinging in 2 and 3 lbers.
