Last week we had 37 teams and paid out $1295 to the top 4 teams. Come and join us tonight, going to be a beautiful evening on Georgetown!!!
One rule change for this year, after you sign up you will be given a chip with your boat number. You can then proceed to your starting spot. In order to weigh in you will need to have your chip back on the table by 9:15 pm.
We will also be bringing back the AOY points system. The top finishing angler will receive their half of entry fees for one TTZ region and the TTZ Championship in 2018. Total value for 4 events and 1 Championship at $100 per event, comes out to $500.
Check in will start at 5:00 pm at the Cedar Breaks ramp. Once you register and have your live-wells checked you will be given a chip, then you can proceed to your starting spot. First cast is 5:45 pm. Early casts will result in disqualification. Weigh in will start at 9:15 pm and end by 9:45 pm. Only boats with their chip on the table by 9:15 pm will be allowed to weigh in. The weigh in will close at 9:45PM sharp, you must be in line by 9:45. This will be a best 5 bass tournament. Any combination of largemouth, smallmouth, guadalupe, or spotted bass may be weighed. Lake Georgetown is a slot lake, largemouth between 14-18″ can not be kept. We also have a 12″ minimum on largemouth bass. All other species must be a minimum of 14 inches. Dead fish will not be weighed.
Quick reminder, the Georgetown Thursday Night Angler of the Year will be awarded free entry into the 2017 TTZ Trail events. The winner of the AOY race will be determined using a points system adding each angler's best 15 tournament scores. The angler with the highest total points will win Georgetown AOY.
