Fished 1pm till sunset. Wind south 12+. Water clarity 2 to 3 feet, 77 degrees. Lazy day. Did not feel like battling the wind, so fished the tree flooded cove past the boy scout camp most of the day. Lots of boats. Caught eight slot bass and one 4lbr on tx rigged lake fork baby fry watermelon green with fleck.
Started seeing some schooling and moved out to the grass flats next to the in-take side. Caught another six, most were solid three to four lbrs and full of fight right at sunset. All caught on keel weighted watermelon fluke or char/white SB in 3 to 5 feet along edge of grass line. No trophy pictures, but the sunset is always better when they're pulling drag. ;)
