Fished yesterday and caught one small keeper on a shad crankbait.
Had the Roundrock Jr. Bassmaster Tournament today. Had to wait a little bit to launch because of the fog. The water temperature was about 54 degrees. I caught a small dink on a c-rig in 22 FOW. Went in a cove and was throwing the c-rig when I hung a big one. She pulled real hard but we got her in. I caught another small keeper on the crankbait and went to weigh-in. Fishing was tough for everyone else and Zach Colosky was the only other person to bring in a fish. He got second with 1.28 lbs. I won with 8.69 lbs and the big fish went 6.95 lbs. She was around 24 inches long.

Congrads on the nice fish. Travis seems to be giving up some decent size of late.

I was out with a buddy yesterday and caught nothing but one big flathead catfish that may have run 20lbs. Got him on a spoon in 50 FOW.

Brad, don't waste your time on Travis...stick to South Texas. Most of us only fish Travis because we "have to".

That's a really nice fish young man! I have yet to break the 5 lb mark on Travis.
