Took the boys from 7a-11a and they caught 12 between them, all on sluggos.  I was pleased for them - not bad for a 2d grader and kindergartner!

Where on earth did you go? I went out there today and put in at sandy creek. We stayed mostly up in that area because it was windy. We got bit on wakey rigged green pumpkin senkos but they never hooked up.

Nice Fish!! That's what its all about. A dad taking out his youngsters and having a nice fishing trip. Those boys will never forget that experience and are very lucky to have had it. That's what America is all about. Raising a family and passing on knowledge to your youngsters.

Thanks everyone. I used to fish a lot of tournaments but gave them up several years ago to spend as much time as I could with my kids. I miss tournament fishing, especially this time of year. Maybe in a few years I will get back into it with the boys. It was nice to confirm that some of the old areas still held a few fish.
