Wife and I got out late this morning launching from Jones Bros. Conditions were windy out of the south and the water temp was about 74'. Hit a bunch of windblown main lake points from Sandy to Bee Creek. Numbers today were 10, 3 LMB the rest healthy guads. All on red fleck Yammi hulla grubs on football head jigs.

Apologies to the dude in the white and black Toon who was in the back of that cove....

She looked a bit sheepish, didn't mean to interrupt... :-X ::)

Well I did not see any sheep in a pontoon boat ,but did fish Cypress with a friend. Fished 9-2:30 and it was tough. No real pattern and scattered. Friend caught 6 and had 2 keeper blacks - I caught 9 with one keeper black and 13" guad - the rest were sardine guads. Most caught on watermellon 6" zoom.

Fished the Arkansas Bend/Hudson Bend area yesterday with my bro-n-law.  I caught probably 14-15 guads & blacks LT specials and one LM that went 17" and put up a great fight on light spinning tackle, he caught 4 with largest a 14 incher.  All caught slow swimming smoke glitter grubs and working TR 4" strawberry glitter ringworms from shallows out to first ledge drop off.  Got bit from back of coves out to secondary points.  Seemed bite was off on main lake points where water clarity was less from being stirred up by wind and boat wakes.  Move back in the cove to the clearer water and we'd get bit.  Also tried ds, cb's, trap, fluke w/no bites.  Water temps 74-75, water clarity good, really fun day on the water.

Dude-

That was ME in the back of that cove and ewe shouldn't be calling my wife a sheep, even if she looks that way in a boat in the back of a cove in a certain position.  Next time, I'll tell her not to BAAAAHH like that... :-X :p
