Fished from 6am-2pm both days and managed 20+ fish a day, but all dinks. Only 3 barely keepers between both days. Fished from devil's to the damn. All fish came off bluffs in 15-25ft of water. Caught a few on cranks but most came off of t-rig plastics. Seen some nice fish cruising the shallows on points but couldn't get them to take anything. Nice weather to be on the water though.

Sounds about like the same day i had. Fished 10/19 from 330 to 630pm in the sandy creek arm. Caught 6 dinks (all about 12-13 inches) and foul hooked this fish. Was targeting shallow water.

Seeing a gizzard shad like that lets you know you cannot throw a swimbait that is too big. I once foul hooked a gizzard shad that weighed over a pound on digital scales.

we had the same kind of day out there yesterday afternoon. Fished near C&C and near the dam. It was dink fest 08. I recommend using ultralight tackle. The dinks fight better
