On my last Ranger trailer I had to replace all the bracket that attach the bunk board to the trailer. Just rusted apart. Very disappointing for a trailer that was only 8 years old. I cannot believe they were not galvanized. I haven't really looked at my new Ranger trailer that close yet. I figure it will be ok for a while.

Not sure who you can blame about the brackets going away. The "new" ACQ treated wood eats the galvanized brackets. I had to replace all my brackets too...now my boat sits a little higher off the trailer frame, easier to load but I have to "sink" it to get off the darn thing.

ok, I see now. You are cranking it up on the bunks with the boat mostly outa the water.

I mentioned before I had a lot of trouble getting my kenner on and off. there was so much friction I had to back it deep to get it to float off. those slick stiks solved that problem and eliminated the need for carpet. O
