Started at 5:30 am and went up. Didin't catch any until we found some schooling fish. Had 5 cast with 5 fish. First was the biggest, she took the whole Chug Bug in deep. Last fish was a big White. All caught on the Chug Bug when they were schooling. Went further up and started catching them on a jig then turned and went back down to the bridges and caught them on a Shakey Head. Had a pretty good day with most of the fish 17" or over.

Sounds like fun.

One of these days I will hit LBL-Town Lake. I know it has been discussed before on ABF but where is the best place to launch a full rig? Is traffic a real pain trying to get around near downtown? I would definitely be going early a.m.

Sounds like fun. I have never fished the lower end of TL (LBL). Is there any grass beds in deeper water down there? I don't think the lower end gets as much pressure as Red Bud does, but I'm not sure what kind of cover exisits.

From the bank I have seen quite a bit of reeds/grass growing out a significant distance into the lake on the south bank, about .5 mile west of the dam. I've been wanting to find a way to fish there, but I haven't been able to get to it from the bank
