I have been looking at alot of different orgs. There payouts look weak considering how many boats they pull out here?

Are there any orgs. out here that even come close to a 100% paybacks?

The only reason I ask is in CA. we wouldn't even come close to full feilds. If there's 30 boats it's consider a great turnout.
Here is a payout for 25 boats.

Bass Champs will have the best payouts, they range from the mid 90s to over 100%.

Most open Ts are held in order to fund a specific club, organization or charity.

It's difficult to do 100% paybacks unless you are bankrolled by big sponsors, not just your local mom n pops.

What was the entry per boat for the payout given?

Entry    $130
Big Fish (option)  $20
Then you have $10, $20, $30, $40, $50 option

The tourney orgs. in CA have to get as close to 100% paybacks as possible. If not there turnouts are a joke.

Then you qualify for there fish-off at the end of the year.
No entry and 1st place wins a boat, and they still payout 20 places.

Bass Champs does have a good payout and if you have a Skeeter its a no brainer.

Enough of your Cali is so awesome compared to Texas crap from the no-boater :p. You ever gonna come to a Wed. nighter again to get your tail handed to you?. The HHJ's is a whopping 88% payback, and it still turns 20+ boats for a few hours of drinking, and occaisionally catching fish.

The HHJ Wed nighters are the greatest tounaments ever to grace the Cen Tex area lakes; the guys that run the show are the coolest mofos, the best anglers in the world and drive the fastest boat period.

Wait till you guys see what's in store for the remainder of the year...we've got several new sponsors on board and we'll be handing out little blue pills and porno movies instead of tackle packs and gift cards.

The Great and Powerful Oz has spoken!
