Fishbone and I hit LT yeasterday afternoon and the fishing was really slow....We manage three fish one around three pounds.....I guess with the front and the full moon they decided not to play.Nice day on the water though we only seen two boats the whole afternoon....Well might try ice fishing this weekend with the cold air coming..Fishing slow and deep seems to be where the fish are!!!!

Yeah, it's been a tough couple of months for me on basically all of the area lakes.  Those double digit fish catching days I had become accostomed to seem like a thing of the past.  Well, spring is right around the corner and fishing is sure to pick up.

Doesn't look like it is going to get much better this weekend with 3 cold fronts back to back pushing across Texas.

I'll gladly take a slow day rather than honey do's. I got some new cold weather gear today from Academy so even cold weather won't stop me now!
