Got onto the lake at 11am and fished til 3pm. Light rain or drizzle the entire time. Light SE wind, water temps 59-61 derees. The bite was excellent although very light! I caught about a dozen LMB and probably missed that many. You really had to be a line watcher today! All my fish came off of rocky steep banks in 12-20 fow. I was using a shaky head jig with a 4" pumpkin colored finess worm. Also caught some on a half ounce football jig with a root beer colored plastic craw. Largest fish was 2.5 pounds, most were 1.5-2 pounds. Kept one 16 incher for Jilly and I for supper, that along with Minnesota wild rice and green beans, delicious meal! :)

Nice report! Glad to hear the bite is picking up. If you like eating fish, be sure to capitalize on the overpopulated guadeloupe bass. With no minimum length, you can almost always go home with some fillets, and do the lake some good at the same time. I can only think of one or two days that I caught largemouth, and no guads. Can't hardly fish that lake with out running into them somewhere.
