Launched at AHS at 7:30 after working overnight at my store for inventory.
Started fishing north shore heading west. First 5 casts I missed 2 fish on TW......I thought to myself "This might be a great day!". I was wrong because I had no other TW bites the entire trip. Fished shore about 3/4 of the way to RedBud throwing TW, black/blue jig, assorted colors of 10" worms, natural shad SB, some Rattlesnakes WW'ed and a few assorted craws. No takers on anything. I spoke to a guy in a canoe that was fishing the opposite shore and said he wasn't having any luck on the same assortment of baits.
Tired and hungry, I decided to go hit my sweet spot with a DD22 CB and managed to pull these 2 fish from there. Not a bad trip, but I was hoping for 3 fish at 20+ inches.
