The George Cook Memorial Tournament

First off I want to thank everyone for your prayers and kind words over the past months it meant a lot to us. And to those that came to the funeral and viewing, I was very touched and honored.
Today marks one month since Dad passed to reunite with his family and friends in heaven.
He is truly missed and we are focusing on keeping the family positive and keeping dad’s wishes and legacy alive.
The George Cook Memorial Bass Tournament will be held on Lake Conroe at Stow-A-Way Marina September 26th from 6AM to 2PM.
Ryan Smith is bringing out a BBQ on a trailer, and we want to have a cook out along with door prizes and a nice raffle after the tournament.
I am confirming the Sponsors now, and will have the details available mid next week; this will include payout- rules, and sponsor involvement.
People have asked how they can help, I say fish it, or come help out, we need folks to cook/serve, help with weigh in, making up give away bags, and set up/tear down ect…
The main thing is to have a great time, laugh and cry remembering a great man and wonderful husband and father,  FYI, Mom will be there – So I have a little extra pressure to make this a great event.
Proceeds will benefit Faith Angler Network and The Kids Unlimited Foundation.
