I see so many people catching fish on swim jigs I was looking at them on Tackle Warehouse and saw this Strike King one. I then had the idea to make my own using my spinner bait mold that I've had for 48 years.
I poured it with a wire through it and then used pliers to remove the wire. So basically got a slip sinker that I could put a skirt on. So just slide it on your line and tie on an EWG and you have a nice little weedless swim jig. I didn't know if it would swim true or spin but a quick trip to the pond this morning showed that it runs true and doesn't roll. I'll let you know if I catch a fish on it. I was thinking of using it on Stillhouse in all that grass.
