Well,
I was sick from work this morning so I decided to head to Bastrop.  I rented a self propelled vessle and headed to my favorite spot. Boy it sure was nice on the calm water. No BITE.  I started feeling the breeze out of the south so I decided I'd better head toward the launch. Fished all the way with a few stops at some coves. NO BITE. All and All bastrop sucked for me. I only saw 3 boats on the water this morning. Hopefully they did beter than me. I got skunked this morning.

Bad day of fishin is still better than a good day at work. But at this point I am wanting a bad day at any work !

I went out yesterday morning and got skunked as well :-/

But as others have mentioned Deb. Its always good to be on the water.

I know it sucks waking up super early, but the best time is to be on the water around 6am, I have to wake up at 4am when I go out there. The bite turns off around 9, maybe 9:30am.

Fished out there from 8 til dark on Sunday and caught fish all day. Most fish were caught in between 8 and 15 ft on the outside edge of the grass on jigs and t-rigs.
