Got a later start because of some things I had to do this morning. Started fishing at around 11:00. I discovered a very tough bite. Met a nice young man on a kayak around noon. He had caught 9 and the last 3 in an area I had fished. He graciously shared that he was using a t-rigged dropshot. I rigged one up and started catching right away. I went to some other areas and found huge carp cruising in big numbers and a few spawning right next to the bank. I believe this affects the bass. Ended up with 7 and was glad to get them. Used a 4" red shad finesse worm and a 6" roboworm in MMIII. Water is 68º-69º.
