I haven't had my '02 Triton Tr-20/Merc 225EFI on the water for far too long to admit and I am worried that the last time I gassed it up it was with fuel that contained Ethanol and it has sat in the tank and lines for several months. Yes, bad I know... I want to get the remaining fuel drained and lines changed before I even try to crank it over again.
Any recommendations for a shop that I can trust won't try to crank it anyways and possibly suck chunks of the potentially ethanol damaged fuel lines before doing the requested work? Is this even something to be concerned about? I would like to avoid any engine work if needed, it worked fine the last time out before my unexpected hiatus from boat/bass fishing...

MobileMercman are you up for this type of work or just engine work?

Thanks!

Man all this ethanol crap is starting to scare me. Probably need to replace all my lines with newer ethanol grade lines pretty soon.
Good idea, and put a second inline filter close to the motor. I got a glass one so I can see when the trash is moving around.
