Took my new boat out for the first time on Lake Travis this afternoon. Around 6:30-7 pm the water started boiling. We were on the far side of the lake by the damn across from the mansfield ramp. Caught easily 35 in a hour and left them biting. They were all small to average whites but it was so fun throwing topwater and watching them destroy it. On a side note I dont think I drove my boat far enough up on the trailer before winching it. I made it home ok it just looks like it is barely touching the rubber wheel things. I didnt know if I could do anything to fix that other than be safe the next time I put it in the water and do a better job of driving it up on the trailer.
