Got on water at 6:30am and off at 1:30pm. HOT day after about noon!
Fished from the convergence of Colorado and Pedernales towards Hwy 71 bridge and caught 11 with the best several being about 2 lbs. Rest were 1 - 1 1/2 lbs. Caught em mostly on watermelon red baby brush hogs Texas rigged throwing right against the rock bank and with a extremely slow retrieve. Usually hit it about 10-15 feet from the bank.

When I used to launch at George Larson's place at the end of Old Ferry Road I'd fish up towards where you put the boat in. Where do you launch up there?

My boat stays on Lake Travis in a marina/boat slip on the Colorado Arm. The other 3 guys in two boats put in at Pace Bend Park boat ramp. It is only a couple of miles up to the convergence. We fished on Pedernales Arm mostly close to the convergence and heading towards Hwy 71. Fished along the rocks on the east side of the lake below the high cliffs.
