Happy Labor Day! Todd and I launched the Pond Prowler at 6:30AM. The lake is near full, with large swaths of pondweed, naiad and hydrilla. We were optimistic about an early topwater bite that never materialized. We resorted to Senkos at the inside edge and boated some small fish out of the pondweed. We continued covering water, working our way around the lake counter-clockwise. We both managed to catch drop shot fish from a stump. We continued along the outside edge. We caught fish on Texas rig, senko and drop shot. We caught fourteen between the two of us. Off at 12:00 noon.
