I checked the forecast for a less windy day for my mid-week fishing jaunt. The next seven days all look to be pretty windy, so I loaded up my pick-up and drove to Pflugie. The wind was about twenty out of the east. I launched at 4pm. I was forced to anchor and tried to fish a drain. I didn’t get bit, so I drifted up shallow and caught a fun-fish. I immediately dropped anchor and caught another fish. I turned on the phone video recorder. The real action doesn’t start until 11:00.

I put the phone away and made the rounds. I got a bite on drop-shot but he pulled off. I could not find the fish. Off At 7pm.

I was hoping you would get to see the video, especially at 11:00 minutes in. Remember when you cast at the the big momma bass and doinked her in the head? In the video, the bass doinked back!
