Headed out after work for a mid-week fishing jaunt. I hope y’all were out fishing. Beautiful weather, gentle NE breeze, partly cloudy, not hot, not cold, just right...and the fish were biting like crazy. I launched at 4pm and started in Copperhead Cove. It’s been awhile since I tried a TR worm, so I cast one out and BAM, nice three pounder! I drifted with the breeze down the mainlake point. I was catching cutie-pies with paddletail and shakeyhead. I switched back to a Texas-rigged worm and it was on like Donkey Kong. I caught four more three-pounders! Momma’s pot roast was smelling really good when I left the house, so I left them biting to get home for dinner. Off at 7pm

I thought I’d duplicate Tuesday trip. Launched at 4 PM. I made a dozen cast and then tucked my tail and went to the ramp. Giant hail was falling as I loaded the Pond Prowler. Off at 4:15 PM.
