I fished the KDCD big bass tournament last weekend on O.H. Ivie and caught my personal best 10.74 lbs 12 foot of water on TR craw. a friend told me a couple of years a go that when you set a hook on a ten pound fish you know, he was not kidding it was like setting the hook in to a log that shook its head for about five minutes i was not certain if either one of us was going to get any where but i finally tired her out and she surfaced and went right back down. From that point on I was ruined adrenaline kicked in I was breathing heavy my legs where shaking it was unreal she resurfaced two more times and on the last one my partner netted her 10.74 fish of a life time in a tournament big fish pays 20 grand well i was in the lead till 11:00 on sunday and ended up finishing third but it was the most awesome experience of my fishing life.
