Late report,
Arrived around 5 to very windy and cool conditions. I only fished a lucky craft lightning pointer 110SP jerkbait the 2 hours I was there. Ended up with 6, 3 under a pound and 3 between 1-1.5. Most of the strikes happened a few feet from me when I started burning the bait back to recast, interesting pattern. I suspect most of them just followed it for the twitch twitch pause and then creamed it when they saw it “fleeing.” Anyways, fun session that went better than expected.

Nice work! Ive found that if i pause more with the jerkbait, especially now that its colder, Ill get more strikes. Once they see a bait will be pinned against something (bank or boat) thats when strikes happen, like you had happen. Always fun when a big fish slams a lure at your feet!
