Fished again today from around 10:30 till 2pm and caught around 20 or so......... fished shacky head deep then went to the jigging spoon in front of pt venture found some bass around 40 feet and even caught a small catfish....chrome and white spoon seem to be the trick today.......well see ya on the water....Thats the report today as it went.Best fish was aorund four pounds

Did you happen to see my friend,Glen trolling in a deck boat today out in front of Point Venture? He caught a limit of whites and 2 keeper striper, trolling crawfish pattern crankbaits in 40 feet of water. He trolled from 9am to 3pm....

Launched at Mansfield around 1:00 and was off at 6:00. Had a pretty good afternoon. Caught about 15 fish with a 1/2 ounce jig. Best five went about 13 1/2 lbs. Will be out there again tomorrow.

Looks like the fishing is picking up a bit on Travis, The lake is probably going to get pounded pretty good in the next couple of weeks with
Bass Champs starting up soon..
