Thanks to Eric for helping get this pic off my camera HD! Those MAC laptops are very nice! ;)

I have been fishing Lake Travis about everyday for the past week. Since I got hounded on not having a digital camera or proof on my catch, I purchased a Sony Cybershot 10.1MP camera for $129 at Wallymart and then went fishing.

I have been catching my bass in 14-20 feet of water, adjacent to deep cliffs. Also on wind blown, main lake points. I have caught several 4 to 5lb bass....I have broke off atleast every trip one or two big bass on spinning gear. I am changing to heavier line or braid next trip out.

Below is a bass I caught Monday night, fishing a lighted dock. Caught it on swimbait.

For all the non-believers, I have caught and lost fish this big and bigger...I hope to find that one double digit bass soon!

Re: Nice bass on Lake Travis

That is a toad Robert. Looks to be close to a 8 pounder.

Glad you got a cam too, helps keep the jealous dudes mouth shut.

Nice fish again...
You were asking about Tournament trails in another thread.  Well, it seems you should be fishing the Tuesday night tournaments on Travis.

PS: If you need help on how to take pictures with a Sony let me know. A good thing for night time shots is to wear light or white shirts.

Re: Nice bass on Lake Travis

Thanks for the comments. The true test of my fishing knowledge is to find the big bass bite during the day, when bass tournaments take place.

The fish have been in the same area for the last few weeks. Most of them spawned out.

Well, it seems you should be fishing the Tuesday night tournaments on Travis.
YES....I will try and attend the next one, two, etc.... ;)

Thanks for the tips and recommendations. I should be posting weekly, I hope!

NICE FISH!!!!!!!!

Fished LT last night as well. Between 6-10pm we caught a total of 7 fish, 5 keepers going for around 14 pounds.  After 10 only caught whites, gar and small bass.  I caught my fish on DD-22 in Texas Shad off points, and ghost white x-rap off lights.  My partner caught two fish over 4(4.14,4.61), one off a light and one off a steep bank.  Both on 1/2 oz white spinnerbaits.  Will post the picks when he sends them to me.

The crazy part of this whole camera thing was this...

I did not purchase a memory or storage card. So when I got on the water, I realized that I could only take 2 pictures at high resolution. So, the first picture was that of my cooler of 10 crappie...the only other picture was the big bass I caught. So, even though I caught several other nice bass, I had to decide on which big bass did I want to practice CPR (Catch/Photo/Release) I do not keep the bass out of the water very long, PERIOD!
