Fished jackpot at Stillhouse tonight. Paul Stokes and John Guerra weighed in a 12.45lb largemouth. They weighed it on certified scales and weghed 12.19lbs it should be the new lake record. I think Dan Wills had the old record at 11.73 or 11.78. Congrats to Paul Stokes!!!

Holy smoke, how awsome to catch a lake record in a jackpot tournament.

Hope me and my partner can duplicate at FOM.

Did a little prefishing Tuesday on Stillhouse with a young friend of mine. He caught a PB 6 lb. 13 oz. early. We had just over 16 lbs. with our best five. Shoulda had about 20 -21 lbs. if we had landed all we had a chance at. Know a fella that fished a couple of weekends ago in a club tourn. Had 48 lbs. (10 fish).

Gotta love that lake.

Is the hydrilla growing back? Also how is water clarity. I fished the "Dead Sea" yesterday, and the clarity was less than normal, possibly due to Ronald Reagan Blvd., Cimmaron Hills Golf Course, or ?. Camp Tejas is a total disaster.
I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to this jewel.

Was out pre fishing for FOM and stuck around 30 pounds yesterday it was the best day of fishing ive ad n a real long time its going to take 30 plus to win on the 24th good luck and a lil hint from a friendly fisherman, Swimbait swimbait swimbait just my 2 cents

By the way how is Stillhouse and Belton... were they all jacked up with the floods earlier? I have not fished them in a long time and would love to make a trip out there..
