Went out to Meadow Lake for the first time today around 1:30pm. Was a pretty little lake, and it looks like it has potential. unfortunately, all i had as actual bait was bread....which did nothing for me. Also, threw out couple zoom watermelon worms, but nothing. i don't know if you guys might've had better luck out there before? Someone out there told me that only yesterday they had fished two 3# bass and a couple cats, so I'm not sure. Anyways, I'm always on a 6hr break from 1-7pm on Mondays. Anyone know anywhere i can go here in round rock area?

Old settlers park has some good fish in it and little better depths near bank. Fish by the pier and in cove near it. Better if u have waders and can walk out a little past all grass on bank but fish can be caught either way. There is also a small park just off 79 on brushy creek that has 150yrds bank you can fish. Have seen 3+lb bass on beds out there (and of course the wife didn't let me bring a pole that day)

Champ'n Park has a small stretch of fishable water around the pedestrian bridge where i've caught some nice, but not really big--1-2 lb--LMB in the past; rarely see anyone fishing there. i fish Vet park very seldom, so i really can't offer any insight other than usually i see 1--or more--drugheads when i go there. i've seen reports on ABF of nice fish caught there, but i haven't had much success there--prolly bec i seldom fish it!
