4 of us went out to travis to catch some whites and or crappie.put in at pace bend at 7:30 am and fished around the split till around 10ish with no whites or crappie.we decided to fish for blacks and was a good choice.we fished the bluffs between the split and pace bend ramp with spot shaky's and rattle snakes and caught over 30 bass with over half of them being keepers.the biggest abut 2 1/2 lbs.water was 55-56 degrees and pretty clear. no pics. but a nice day on the water.

Sounds like a great day... I did not fair that well but only fished a few hours. The water was very clear compared to last weekend.

I think we saw you out there. We were trolling for whites near the split, caught a nice chunk BB on the flat right at the split, then found the whites up by Monas. Great day on the lake.

we tried slabs,spoons,jig heads with grubs,small cranks,little rattle traps,all with not 1 bite.graffed a lot of bait and fish in 40-50 fow we were going to head up to Mona's but decided to fish for blacks.What were you using?
