Fished about 3 hrs midday.  Cloudy and breezy temp 65, water temp 53, very chilly for this time of year.
Got zero action shallow, but managed about a dozen fish in 10-20 ft water...I am a hack so there could've been fish to be caught today that we couldn't find.  Interestingly, of the 12 fish caught, none were Micropterus Treculii, all were Micropterus Salmoides, and based on their size and coloring, I doubt any were Micropterus Salmoides Floridanus.

Lol, I'm nowhere good enough to give a fishing lesson...I read the scientific names of the bass in a TPWD guide one time and I can't stop thinking " micropterus treculii " when I catch a Guadalupe (said in Ace Ventura fashion)

All midlake--I fish out of Lakeway and usually don't venture too far up or down lake from there.
