Fished from 2-6:30. Lower end,, most water temps 60-63, but did find 67 late in the day in the back of a creek. First 2 hours we fished bluffs and had 17 fish on jigs and shakey heads. Maybe 6 keepers with nothing over 2.5lbs. Moved to the back of a creek at about 5 or so and there were shad EVERYWHERE. In an area about 300 yards by 200 yards,, there were balls of surface shad everywhere. About 5:30 the bass started busting them, but only in small schools and they did not stay up. We caught another 16 in the last hour and probably missed 30 or so. We caught largemouth up to 2.5lbs, Spots/Guads to 15", Whites to 14", a perch and a gar. Lots of fun on LT today with one of the Hutto HS kids.

Launched at Jonestown.. I have been launching at Sandy Creek for free, but they had someone out there Saturday and it was 12 bucks. I figured with Monday being a holiday, they may be there again, so I bypassed the winding road to Sandy and paid the 10 bucks at Jonestown.
