[Hopedale]

TexasEd and I took off late this moring to brave the wind. We got two dinks for our effort, but for me, I came to relize it was the first fish I cought in almost 2 1/2 years. And it was my first bass on Travis.

TE was using a YUM watermelon colored lizard carolina rigged, and I had on a white spinner bait.

Over all it was a fun day.

I got the next, and was happy to have got it:

The first one looks spawned out and ready to feed. Most of the bass a friend and I caught out at Sandy Creek Thursday looked similar. We caught all ours on Senkos or Wave worms, and crankbaits, (suspending Fat Free Shad, and Bill Norman Middle N's).
We Probably caught 25-30, with about 40% being legal, both Guad's and LM. Best 5 would have been 9-10Lbs.

Get 'um while they're shallow and hungry!

My bait was actually a Lake Fork Garlic infused pumpkin and Chart Top Dog lizard. First fish I ever caught on plastic and a carolina rig.

I had several other bites I failed to set the hook on.
