Got a late start, so we decided to scrap the Stillhouse trip. Hit up LT instead from 8-1. Fished the Arkansas bend area, water temps in the high 80s. Tried creeks as well as main lake stuff and neither really produced. The few fish we did catch came on shakey heads fished dead slow in 20+ FOW. A rough day on the water. Learned my lesson for sleeping in, fishing late morning and early afternoons this time of year is pretty much pointless IMO.

We were toasting by about 10am. This lake has not treated me well this year. After not seeing a report for the last week, I should have figured things were tough. Most likely will hit the lights Tuesday night.

trying to wake up to fish after a long night of drinkin is always hard!

i fished a night tournament on eagle mountain saturday and got worked....well everyone got worked...the winner had 1 fish. awful summertime fishing....

I actually did not partake the night before...I was just up until 2 screwing with my gear haha. Hoping I can get over this dissapointent with a few reds out of the surf this weekend ;D.
