My first day of terminal leave and i spent it on Travis.  I was reluctant to buy rain gear recently but was glad I had it today.  Worth every penny..

WT - 71 to 72 F
North wind from calm to 20

Wind was blowing when I first got on the water.  Starting fishing near bee creek and started using the Spook.  Caught 3 keepers with the largest around 3 lb.  Caught about dozen total.  Fishing the spook was alot of fun.  Some of the blowups were awesome.  Missed quite a few fish on it.  Did catch a few dinks on a jig later in the day.

Wind picked up at the end of the day and got off the water. I love fishing the fall.

I wish I had a wrapped boat and sponsored. That is my dream. I fished on Anderson Bend, including Bee Creek.

I didn't cut you off or somthing, did I? Ready to be back on 'ol Travis! Was on LBJ Wed for a guide trip... Lots of fish that way!

Was that you in the outdoor zone boat? No you didn't cut me off at all. I didn't want butt in to your fishing either. I usually don't fish that far north but in was interesting fishing new territory. Had to burn some gas to get up there.

Looks like we were interested in the same spots. I usually like fishing in the wind but that strong North wind makes it tough. It was nice to fish where there is not alot of boat docks and people. It was very peaceful in the coves.

Will probably hit it this morning or afternoon. Enjoying my little vacation before transitioning back to my civilian job. Soaking it in right now before back to the civilian grind!!
