Had a couple hours to kill and decided to head out to Cypress Creek to see if any Whites were in the area. To my surprise they closed the Cypress Creek Launch Ramp, even though the lake level is at almost 668ft. According to the LCRA it doesn't close until the water levels get to 666ft. The cones were up and there was a Park Police Officer guarding the ramp to make sure no one tried to launch.

Had to drive around to Manfield Dam, the motor up to Cypress.

Didn't see any whites, but I picked up 1 LMB that went 16 inches and 8 Guad's. I had to invite the Guad's over for dinner.

All fish were caught trolling white bomber crankbaits.

Hey Tracker,

I keep my pontoon boat at Cypress Creek Marina, so I usually troll Cypress Creek quite regular during the spring. Next time you want to do that again, hit me up and we can meet at the marina next to Cypress Creek Park, and I have a gate pass and you can launch from there. Of course it will cost you by adding a passenger on the boat.
