Yesterday, I struggled to get bit, finding only three bites: one miss and two shake-offs. I went home, patched two holes in the Prowler's hull and replaced the rear u-joint on the Prowler's pickup.

Today, I "slept-in", waiting until the sun had cleared the horizon and then some. I got to the lake and started ripping grass. I caught a lot of two to two-and-a-half pound bass. Cowabunga!

Good job.

Placed a TackleWare order earlier this week. Went ahead and got you something that I know you were eyeballing the last few times we fished.

That is a great lure, for sure. Ironically, I was using that same Spro lipless in the color you recommend (because we all know how you really feel about red). I think we were both at Gander when I bought it.

Got out this morning for an hour and a half. I missed four for four blow-ups on top-walkers. I got a couple fun-fish on WW.
