I dusted off the Pond Prowler and headed to the lake. When I pulled up to the ramp, a box van was on the jog path, sideways across the drive and pinned in by the bollards. I sneaked past, dropped in, and chuckled as the box van driver tore splinters off a bollard with his back bumper.

Visibility about 2 feet. Lake level is 2 feet below the spillway. Wind NW @ hellastrong. WT=71.5°F

Best bite was on white swim-jig, and I also caught fish with TR 10.5" ribbontail and Rat-L-Trap.

A beautiful spring morning, for sure. I launched at day-break. The early bite was lights out. I had four in the boat before 8AM. All four were caught with senko, however, four vastly different colors.

I got strikes on swim-jig and squarebill, but I mostly fished with senko. I caught ten fish, best fish was a three-and-a-half pounder that bit a GYB Gooseberry Laminate 5" Yamasenko in 6 FOW near the main lake point. Off at 11:30AM.

Afternoon weather was too good to pass up going to Pflugie. Overcast, light east breeze, light rain. I dropped in at 4:30 PM. The weren't biting semi-shallow so after two hours of hauling water I anchored up on a deeper drop-off. I tried drop-shot and no bites, so I threw out weightless senko. I caught a nice three-three and headed for the ramp.
