Pflugerville level is inching up. Water temps are 53°F. Water clarity is about 4 feet.

I put in at sunrise and cranked the outside edge for nothing. I moved to the inside edge and boated a couple good'uns on back-to-back casts.

Off at 10:30 to go see Midway movie.

Happy Veteran's Day.

I went back to Pflugie this morning after reading an interesting article about the lake in the Statesman. It seems the zebra mussels are responsible for a water treatment failure that led to at least one person being sickened.

I dropped in to the Little Lake on the Prairie at sunrise and started cranking. I cranked and cranked. It reminded me of last weekend at Lady Bird where I cranked all day and caught only one small bass on a DT6. Today, I cranked for five hours until I put down the cranking stick and picked up the jabroni rod.

I caught three bass in a row with the jabroni rod. I stayed anchored due to the chilly SE wind and wound up with a fourth jabroni bass, doubling yesterday's count and halving yesterday's weight. Off at 1pm.

Todd and I set out early Saturday and made the rounds. We caught a few fun-fish and cutie-pies with ned and DS in 20 FOW. We moved to the inside edge and found one lonely fish. Back to the outside edge and we picked up a couple more. Off at noon.

I wanted to get on the water early today, but my truck wouldn't start. Finally got the truck running around noon and headed to the lake. I could not get any bites on the outside edge, but I caught a good'un on the inside. Off at 4:30PM. Water temp 54°F.
