Just to follow up here...

Rick and I caught a 21 lb bag of fish out of a school of large bass for 1st place in the Texas Classic Bass Club tournament. Fish were caught on an assortment of watermelon lures. All released very lively and healthy.

The ATX folks had 17 folks fish out of 13 boats on 9/15, 12am to 9am. No one in the club really got in to the fish. Patrick Anderson won with 11 plus pounds and a big bass right at 5. Patrick weighed the only limit. There were a lot of 3 fish sacks in the 4 to 7 pound range.

I caught my paltry fish on dark Senkos, black/blue fleck and watermelon/red fleck, over shallow grass flats.
