Took the yak out last night, hitting the water at 7:30. Made turns for Lick Creek (does that apply to a paddle Jeremy since I don't have a screw propelling me) and worked the rocky shore line around the submerged brush. Water was 5-9 feet in most places. I threw chatter baits, jibs, TR worms and spinners but struck out. Nice to see the water clarity returning though. On the way back I tossed a black/blue jig beside the bridge pilings. Boating a nice hybrid made a good end to the outing. Keep your lines tight and have a blessed day.
