Finally was able to get back on the water. Work and the weather cooperated. Launched from Redbud Isle at 3:30pm breezy, cloudy, only a light stain on the water. Headed downstream and started throwing a red lipless, not even a nibble. Got to a couple of lay downs and finally got bit on a wacky rigged GP stick bait. Lost the worm and the fish close to the yak. I figured it was still light and water was pretty clear so I was using a natural/minnow colored drop shot worm and no nibbles. Finally landed one on a black trick worm as the sun was starting to set. Lost one more on wacky and then set the hook harder on the next bite and landed the small bass pictured. So total hooked 4 landed 2. No action on T-rig creature bait or ned rig. A bit of a grind but good to be back on the water.
