Launched the new to me Yak at 7am from the Holiday Inn ramp. Slight breeze, water was dirty. Dirtiest I have seen in a long time. Debris everywhere, quite a bit of trash but mostly downed tree limbs, etc. Visibility was maybe 6-9 inches. Bad sign, I should have turned around, but time on the water is better than not. I paddled heading west on South bank, literally dodging limbs. Got close to Waller Creek inlet and water was covered from bank to bank. No real bites ( a couple of sunfish) on TX rig, drop shot, ned rig, chatter bait and spinner. I will most likely try another area of the lake after next storm.

“I paddled”...

I figured you’d have got one of those fancy propulsion systems. I’m pretty sure the lake will be cleared up by this weekend. Thanks for the report.

Nice report and we saw the same debris out west heading into Travis. Good news - Pedernales actually had some significant water in it. Bad news - not sure you could get to the water from the trash on top of the water.
