9/11 Launched from Holiday Inn boat ramp at 7am. Headed up river along the north bank. Mats and debris everywhere. Started by throwing the frog but not even a nibble. Caught a cutie pie on senko next to some weeds. Then I retied. Caught another on drop shot close to Waller Creek. Made the turn back on the south bank and hooked a good'un close to a small boat dock on the senko. Never saw it. Just before it broke the surface my line broke. Oh well. Off at 10:30am

9/17 Launched from Holiday Inn boat ramp at 7am. Breeze, water was stained visibility 2-3 feet. There was a gentleman launching his Jon Boat that said he had not fished LB in over 30 years. Hopefully he had a good morning. Based on last week's struggles and the prevailing wind I went down river on the south bank. Continued to throw the frog with no luck. My walking has gotten pretty solid. Caught a cutie 10 min in on the weed edge using a senko. Moved on to the I-35 bridge and caught a nice fish on T-rig creature bait near a concrete piling when I was reeling it back to make another cast. Could not find them under the raised walkways, but did have some luck in the pockets on the weed edge. Turned back at the Fiesta Gardens ramp and worked the south bank all the way back. Caught a couple of good fish on the senko where the weed edge was no too far from the bank. No luck on frog, dropshot, child rig or paddle tail. Was able to boat 7, I've attached pics of my 2 largest a 17 and 18 inches and my favorite little guy. Spoke to angler and his 2 boys on the ramp and he said they were only able to pick up 3 by Seaholm. Off at 11am.

The mats are still too thick from Holiday Inn ramp until almost the Austin High Ramp. The angler I spoke to said he and his boys usually boat (he was on a nice Ranger bass boat) 20 or more and could only muster 3 today. It's more clear toward Festival beach. It might get better toward Longhorn Dam.
