Launched a little after 6 at holiday in. I only had 2 hours to fish and needed to be back to watch the kids while the wife played soccer. Water was 84 degrees and has warmed from the 81 or so it was 1.5 weeks ago. Hardly any wind. Not much topwater action in front of 35 bridge but there were some there. Had a bite on the plopper that got off on the boat. Caught 4 more throwing a paddle tail fluke at the blow ups. Moved closer to the bridge and fished the deep grass edges with a drop shot d shad shaped worm. Pulled in 3 decent fish in back to back to back casts. One was a nice guad. Finished with 7 fish in the boat and the biggest going 16.5 inches. Off at 8am.
