Had a friend (and fellow fisherman) in from Portland so snuck out for two hours. We launched from the Rowing Dock, where he rented a paddle kayak and I launched my RS117 at 8:45am after dropping my kids at there summer camps. Worked the north bank overhangs and lay downs heading upstream. Throwing frog, DS, swimming worm, ned rig, shakey head, swim bait and senko. 4-5 bites and no hookups. Started to get nervous were were going to blanked. We switched to the south bank heading down river just before the bend. Finally the senko worked and I landed a 3# LMB. My buddy then picked up 3 on the drop shot, including a solid 2#. Found one last on the shaky head under a dock. I had assumed given the wind from South and shade dominating the North bank that the fish would be there, but they were on the South bank. Any thoughts why?
